Allegheny Insurance Agency, A Division of Blue Ridge Risk Partners can trace its roots back to 1893 when N.G. Keim sold his first insurance policy. The Keim & Keim Agency then merged with the W.R. Cromwell Agency and then later with the E.S. Heineman Agency to become Cromwell-Keim-Heineman Insurance. In 1984, Cromwell-Keim-Heineman Agency became known as Allegheny Insurance Service, Inc. The A.V. Rettzo Insurance, Fletcher Insurance, Loudin Insurance (Elkins operation), Hartman Insurance, Strader Insurance and Raleigh Insurance agencies were subsequent acquisitions that have made Allegheny Insurance one of the largest privately owned insurance agencies in West Virginia.
